Vérticus Investment is led by Ricardo Coimbra and José Ruivo, combining senior real estate experience, investment thinking and hands-on execution. Around them, Vérticus brings together a multidisciplinary team of highly capable professionals across the key stages of the real estate lifecycle — from origination, market analysis and concept development to design coordination, structuring, transaction support and delivery.
Ricardo Coimbra brings over 30 years of real estate experience, with a strong focus on the strategic development of real estate projects, market studies, project management and real estate investment. His work is marked by rigour, discipline and close attention to execution — the kind of professional for whom no relevant detail should escape.
He contributes deep market knowledge, practical judgment and a long-term view on how real estate value is created, positioned and protected across different asset classes and ownership situations.
José Ruivo leads Investment & Capital Markets, focusing on opportunity sourcing, financial analysis, deal structuring and investor engagement. He works across the transaction process, from early-stage assessment and investment memos to partner coordination and execution.
He is particularly driven by purposeful projects — opportunities where capital, concept and execution can create places with long-term value. His work combines investment discipline with a strong interest in underutilised assets, thoughtful development and respect for the character of each place.
